Social media has gained popularity but many organisations are struggling to gain business benefits from these tools. Optimising social media assets can significantly impact search engine rankings as there are millions of searches taking place within social platforms.
The session was hanlded by Lee, the General Manager of Sekari, an international search and social optimisation agency with offices in Dubai and Singapore.
The key learnings from the session were:
-Social strategy should also be viewed from an SEO perspective

This session on voice based command and control helped attendees understand the inside scoop on what’s latest with voice control, voice bio metrics and voice to text. The speaker Kunal Grover is an Advisor for Strategic Initiatives at Emerging Technologies Abu Dhabi. Kunal Grover is a start-up mentor with multifaceted involvement in many upcoming bright ideas. He is a self-proclaimed technology evangelist, investor and business development expert. Highly motivated and full of energy, he is currently driving a mass movement for adoption of voice based command and control across Middle East and Africa.

The workshop will touch on areas such as becoming innovators, learning to identify every opportunity to create new ventures, understanding the nuances of starting a business and recession proofing one’s r career.
The speaker, Hari Krishnan, Chairman and Founder of UniPropitia is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and technology executive with over 20 years of experience in the Technology Industry, Hari Krishnan has founded two successful technology companies in a short span of 12 years. Hari spearheaded Percipia, one of the companies, from a small technology startup to a publicly traded company with a market capitalization of over US$ 100 million.
Hari has a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, USA and a second MS degree in Mathematical Sciences. He also holds a B.E (Honors) degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, India. |

Post economic recession, receiving finance for any kind of business is becoming challenging. Therefore SMEs have to understand all the aspects of business in order to gain long term benefits. SMEs have to learn how banks perceive service companies and how they can showcase their strengths to lenders.
The session will be managed by Vikram Venkataraman, a career banker with 25 years of experience in banking in India and the Middle East with banks like HSBC, ABN AMRO, Dubai Bank and Mashreqbank. Presently Vikram is a Director at Salvus Strategic Advisors.
