Business Profile: SAMENA Telecommunications Council purpose is to provide a non-profit organizational means for leading operators, regulatory and minister telecom bodies, manufacturers and private telecommunications industry a platform on which to build consenssus together through discussion, collaboration and idea experession in a non-biased working environment. The application of the consensus should direct the focus of the combined multi-faceted, diverse energies of the members of SAMENA, toward associating the many important issues of the South Asian, Middle Eastern and North African telecommunications community toward the common goals of organizing conferences, webinars, workshops and seminars. These activities promote the free flow and interchange of specific goals and views of the members to arrive at solutions which can be implemented. SAMENA Telecommunications Council has over seventy members and has multiple committees, especially the Regulatory and Technical groups which are very active. SAMENA is taking a lead position with regard to Mobile TV issues.
